SALES - TECHNOLOGY - LPR
Job Description –
General Sales Administration is looking to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and innovative public safety solutions to join our Team as a Technology Sales Representative. This role requires, the Sales Representative to be the subject matter expert in both hardware and software systems involving License Plate Reader (LPR) technologies. As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving new business in the NY, NJ, PA regional area and other designated States, including cross-selling to existing clients, customer service and generating new sales predominately in the law enforcement markets. The Technology Sales Representative will be the primary contact throughout the sales process for product demonstrations, integration discussions, site surveys, and delivery of the technology.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Support sales growth and drive opportunities through in-person and virtual meetings
• Develop in-depth product knowledge to conduct informative demonstrations and learning opportunities for potential customers
• Help to promote select manufacturers and the company brand amongst the customer base and develop new contacts related to LPR mission success
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Applicant should be a self-starter with good organization skills
• Experience Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent is required
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation
Below a Plus but not Required
• Experience selling to Federal, State or Local Municipalities or government agencies
• 2+ years of sales/public safety experience or prior law enforcement experience
• Prior experience or knowledge of LPR technologies is desired but not required
• Experience in the Parking/Transportation industry
